11 Feb 2005 Tsunami Earthquake Appeal Gig at Allendale Centre, Wimborne. Organised by Beyond Belief featuring Average Blues Band, James Brown, Bobby Brown, Sara G as Shania Twain, James Brown - magician & Mr Big Stuff. Over £4,000 raised. More info.

Charity gig at David Loyd Club Sep 4 2004 helped raise over £2,000 for the Dom & Euan fund for Poole Hospital.

Supporting Earthkind at the T2F 2CRFM Fireworks nights on Poole Quay on 27 June & 22 Aug 2002 & 2003.

Appearing with T-Rextacy, UKs top T-Rex tribute band and Joe Montanna as ELVIS, the UKs top impersonator at the Harley Davidson May 2001 Rally, Warmwell Holiday Park, Dorset.

Being asked to headline at the Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne on the 16th July for Wimborne ‘99.
A charity event featuring 22 bands like ‘Bad Penny’ & ‘The Queens’. With proceeds towards The Tivoli Theatre & Victoria Hospital, Wimborne.

The opportunity to play on the Ocean Defender Ship moored at Poole Quay, helping to raise funds for Earthkind (Reg. Charity). Appearing during the Poole Summer Festival Firework nights 22 July & 19 Aug 1999.

Appearing on Local Live TV Cable Channel at our gig on The Ocean Defender ship Poole Quay Aug 2000. Broadcast in Oct 2000 throughout the South of England.

Supporting STATUS QUO at the Bournemouth International Centre, Wed 20 Oct 1999. Their fans gave us a really warm reception, and they stayed in the Windsor Hall to listen, instead of the bar. Our thanks to the Quo for the opportunity to play to 2,500 people in the Windsor Hall.

Appearing at the Concert in aid of the Central American Flood Disaster Fund Dec 1998 with proceeds to UNICEF. Hosted by local DJ Geoff Barker alongside ‘The Average Blues Band’ and ‘The Producers.’

Beyond Belief Facts

We regularly play at The Malt & Hops - Southbourne, O’Neills - Lansdowne, White Horse - Swanage & The Red Shoot - Linwood, New Forest.

We have played in Salisbury, Bristol, London, Lymington, Blandford, New Forest, Southampton, Poole, Bournemouth, Swanage & Weymouth.

Most bizarre gig was in 1996 when we played a ‘Hawian Hula’ evening at the BDOC (Bournemouth & District Outdoor Club). We had no idea they were naturists and spent the whole evening feeling over dressed !

Musical tastes within the band range from Frank Sinatra & Level 42 to Thunder & Extreme.

At a recent gig a the White Horse in Swanage Luke Morley’s (Guitarist in Thunder) uncle sang with the band.

From Otis Redding to Robbie Williams by way of Ian Dury, Billy Idol, Buzzcocks, Black Crows, U2, Paul Weller, Brian Adams, Robert Palmer, Bon Jovi and Thunder.

Mew Numbers for 99 include Elvis Costellos PUMP IT UP and Ian Dury and the Block Heads HIT ME WITH YOUR RHYTHM STICK - Rocked up versions Beyond Belief style.
